Donations to Canadian Forces Members and Families

• Donate money to CF Personnel Assistance Fund (CFPAF): In order to fulfill its mission of providing financial assistance to serving, former, and injured members and their families, as well as to the families of deceased members, CPFAF partially relies on donations. If you wish to make a donation, please send a cheque payable to the "Canadian Forces Personnel Assistance Fund", write donation in the Memo section and mail to:

• Donate money to the CF Hospital Comforts Program: This program ensures that all members of the CF who find themselves hospitalized for longer than 48 hours will have access to telephone, television and internet services for the duration of their stay. In addition the program will provide funds to ensure that hospitalized members are able to buy toiletries and canteen items such as books and movie rentals while they are recovering. Should you wish to donate to this program, cheques should be made payable to the "CFCF in trust for the Canadian Forces Hospital Comforts Program" and mailed to:

• Military Families Fund: The fund is agile and responsive and focuses on an aim that is two-fold. It is a mechanism for raising funds through the support of Canadians and a mechanism to distribute funds to Canadian Forces families who find themselves in unique situations. Base Commanders, partnered with Military Family Resource Centres across the country, will be able to assist military families within hours of being advised of a need.

• CF Soldier On Fund: In November 2007, the Canadian Forces Personnel Support Agency began accepting funds for the CF Soldier On Fund (CFSOF). The CFSOF provides financial grants for the purchase of adaptive sports equipment and/or assistive devices, and subsidization of mileage expenses for those that reside in rural communities and must travel a distance of greater than 100km one-way to participate in regular physical activity or sport that directly contributes to maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. As a fund in support of the Defence Team, the CFSOF accepts requests for financial support from CF personnel both serving and retired and their eligible dependents with a physical or mental disability.

• Donate to Military Family Resource Centres: Located on CF Bases across the country the Military Family Resource Centres (MFRC) provide support to the parents or the spouses and children of deployed CF members. Contributions must be coordinated with the specific MFRC. To locate an MFRC, please contact Maria DiVirgilio, field operations.
  
• Operation Santa Claus
  We welcome donations to our Operation Santa Claus. If you wish to make a donation to Operation Santa Claus simply complete this Donation Submission Form. Once received, your submission will be evaluated to ensure that it is appropriate to include with the Operation Santa Claus program then you will be contacted about the donation.
  
• Donations for Humanitarian Reasons
  If you wish to donate to the citizens living in the countries where members of the Canadian Forces are serving, please contact one of the many humanitarian aid agencies within Canada supporting this worthy cause.
