CF National Slo-Pitch Championship at CFB Borden

Competition was heated at the CFB Borden ball diamonds from September 24-26, as regional Slo-Pitch champions fought for the title of CF National champion.
The powerhouse Formation Esquimalt Tritons continued to show their strength during the final game, beating the team from 8 Wing Trenton with a final score of 24 to 16. The final women’s game could be considered the highlight of the entire championship. With Ontario leading 10-1, 14 Wing Greenwood found a way to battle back and eventually claim the lead.
The Raiders were able to hold off the Ontario bats, winning the championship by a score of 11 to 10.
